Response letter #1 Analyzation

This letter to Kid Pharoah was written by Sanel Karic. Sanel makes good points about how Kid Pharoah marginalizes a whole society with very little information that is stereo typical of that society. He got right to the point to why Kid Pharoah behaves in such manner, which was due to illiteracy and mingling of the street alley gangs or hoodlums. I think Sanels letter definitely would tell the facts about Kid's life straight to his face. How ever i also feel like sanel might be coming on too harsh with his tone and words. I mean he comments "your neices are dating five different black guys at the same time" in the end. That is a bit on a personal level and if he really wants Kid Pharoah to take his advice and self educate himself through books, then some would have to help Kid through this process instead of insulting, which i found a bit humorous. But over all i think this letter is just as direct as Kid Pharoah's story.
