Derrick's friend Saad makes a good point. Indians do emphasis more on Educations. Their education system is alot harder than here. My parents, aunts, uncles, and every relative or family friend that came from overseas is always so amazed as to how easy the education system is here. In India all the students HAVE to memorize all the times tables, so they are really good at mental math. Thats why you'll notice that most of the doctors, engineers, and even accountants are Indian/Pakistani. They don't have the system of multiple choice there, so they have to answer all the questions in full complete senteces. So all the students HAVE to study really hard for all tests, and exams. The teachers there never slow down or repeat what they said to any student who is falling behind. So the students have really good listening and writing skills. On top of all of this there is no type of financial aid or discount in tuition. So those kids really work hard to get their education.
