Hello people good luck on the exams every one. Just wanted to drop in and say..Olivia you are great teacher, you kept the whole class interested all semester long and motivated to voice our opinions openly. Even though i wasnt there much lol but i really appreciated your methods of teaching though. The whole process of writing elevated just right. SO, as Fernando is saying dont change ! oh and ya Fernando you both look great man ! Good luck People !

I am writing this blog today in memory of my friend Derrvelle who got shot early saturday morning at 3 am at a gas station. He was my best friends sisters boyfriend and the father of her future child. Its sad to see young people like this be victims of hate crimes. He was pumping gas at a gas station and was robed, he faught back and got shot. This sadly connects to our 5 faces. Violence is never going to stop, especially not now when our economy is so low. People are going crazy and this leads to horrible things. This all happened so fast, I was with him 6 hours before this happened. Its crazy how someone can be there one second and be gone the next. I hope they find the people who did this to him. Derrvelle was a wonderfull person inside and out and had many things going for him! He will be missed but never forgoten. May he rest in peace!

Man shot dead at South Holland gas station

South Holland police and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force are investigating the shooting death early this morning of a 20-year-old man at a gas station in South Holland, police said.

The incident occurred at about 3 a.m. in the parking lot of a Clark gas station at 15 E. Sibley Blvd., according to a police statement. The Cook County medical examiner's office identified the victim as Dervelle Orr of the 17100 block of Apple Tree Drive in Country Club Hills. Orr had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the medical examiner's office, a spokesman said.County records listed Orr's first name as "Derrvelle."

Police said no one was in custody in the shooting.
